Abstract

This volume is a product of the first careful study of one professional community, the bar, within a small American city, it being directed to the practicing lawyer in an anonymous middle western city of about 100,000 population. All of us concerned with the welfare and responsibilities of the American bar are in debt to Professor Handler for this book.
